Welcome to our first classroom Blog!

I'm looking forward to being your child's grade 1 teacher this year! This is my 2nd year at Brownridge Public School and I'm excited to be a part of your child's learning! Grade 1 is a very important year for your child's learning development.  I believe I will be able to bring a new approach to your child's learning that will make it fun, exciting, and engaging for all students!  This is my 1st year using a Blog for my class and I hope this will allow me to communicate more with you, the parents, to keep you updated and a part of your child's learning to help you extend the learning at home.  You may want to read the Blog together with your child and ask them questions to get more details and give them opportunities to reflect on their learning.

I hope this Blog helps you stay updated and understand what your child will be learning at school throughout the year.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me at the school.  I look forward to a fantastic school year!
